MANCHESTER THE CITY WITH

Soul Radio was born from a desire to provide soul music both old and new to a worldwide audience. The station is run in a professional way by Phil Evans and station manager Yvette Essien. The station is constantly on the look out for new and exciting presenter with a desire to provide quality soul purely for the love of the music. If you feel you have what it take please contact Yvette who is responsible for the day to day running of the station. The station set out to provide our listeners with a feel that they are truly part of this musical journey by involving them in every step in the passage and development of Heart and Soul Radio. Our presenters are fully committed to bringing you the finest music and interviews around, and will stop at nothing to seek out the music that other stations just leave behind. Leukaemia/Cancer Research

We at Heart and Soul Radio are supporting Alex and Shionadnah kettel in the quest to to raise £3000 in total plus the £7000 it's going to cost to do the listed events in aid of Leukaemia and cancer research. They will be running a marathon in a number of europian city's including the following

18 March – Rome

25 March – Barcelona and Paris on the 15th April

They will also holding the following events to help boost the amount raised

1 April Skydive – Nottingham with 20 people (few places left)

8 April Fete day – In Kettering open to public

20 April – Ball – Highgate house, Northampton. Tickets are £30 each, includes a full 3 course meal, start at 7.30 to sit down and eat at 8.

Soulful Flavas

Phil & Yvette present Soulful Favasing every Monday night from 9pm. The show is a great mix of rare groove, old school and modern tunes. Phil & Yvette also interact with listeners whilst the show airs on there facebook page also named Soulful Flavas. If your not already a member joining is so very easy. simple log on the your facebook page the search for Soulful Falavas and look for the same picture as the one on the right, ask to join and your in as simple as that.

Then all you need do is tune in to the show and soulful flavas and your interacting with us in the studio and other in the group, so come on join us.

Chuck A. Gentry has been part of the Heart and Soul family for some time. Chuck has been part of groups such as Shalamar and artist like the Bee Gee's and Jacksons.

1. PRESENTERS NEEDED

At Heart and Soul Radio as we move into 2012 we are on the look out for new presenters, if you feel you could present a 2 hour show purely for the love of the music then we need to hear from you. You can contact myself or Yvette from our contact page for more details.

2. SOUL FLAVAS GROUP AT 600

We are pleased to announce that our facebook group has now passed the 600 mark, a true milestone. We now need to make 700 and for that we need your help, please let all your friends who enjoy quality soul music know about the group and if you can get them to join and together we will build a great community.

3. NEW LOVERS ROCK AND LATINO SHOW

We are thinking of bringing to Heart and Soul Radio two new shows, a Lover Rock and Latino show, If you feel you could present one of them then please contact the station manager Yvette Essien.

4. NEW SPECIALS COMING SOON

We are planning some special shows featuring some artists from Heart and Soul. These shows will not only feature the artists music but also the music that has had influenced them and had meaning to them. Artists includes Al Olive, Rodney Mannsfield and Kenya and Nemor to name just a few. Keep an eye on this page for more news on these great new shows.
